Last week, on thanksgiving to be exact, Mike drove down to Victorville to go look at a truck. This was just not any truck,it is a white, four door, chevy, long bed, allison transmission, truck of his dreams.
When he went to see it he fell in love with it, and the next day the owners were here in Bakersfield and the deal was done!
He finally has the truck he has wanted since he was 17. I can't think of anyone who is more deserving of this than Mike. He works so tirelessly everyday ,often times 24 hour days, without ever a complaint. I often wonder how he does this and never complains,because I get one hour less sleep on somedays and I complain about that.
He is such a fun dad, the kids can't wait for him to come home each night. Presley wakes up asking where daddy is, and Rocco will do something good and then say"Daddy will be so happy"They love their Daddy and I love that.
He is a man of many talents, he really knows how to do anything and can fix anything. One time a couple years ago, we were driving ome from Lake Havasu in this old toyota truck that didnt have a working gas gage, so we didn't know when we needed to get gas. So, somewhere in Glendale we ran out of gas on the side of the freeway. We happen to be pulling the jetskis, so Mike getsthis brilliant idea to siffen some gas out of the jet ski and into the truck. He pulls some tubing off the jet ski and puts it in the gas tank of the jet ski and sucks a little, and lo and behold some gas come out and then he puts just enough in the toyota to get us to a gas station. I mean seriously, who thinks of things like that.
He is my true Love and I am so blessed to call him mine. He deserves much more than this truck, but I'm so glad he was able to get.
