Tables

This is my new table I bought from my friend ,who is moving to Idaho, and I wanted it for a sofa table. I'm not sure if is right? I know it dosen't have stuff and maybe that is the problem. what do you think?

This is what it looks like from walking into the front door
This is my garage sale table. I got it for $7 and then painted it up red, but I feel that it might not be the right color, I'm thinking a mustard color, whats the vote?
Tell me what you guys think, again I know I need STUFF on it and that will come.

shopping trip

We went to Old Navy on Memorial Day, and I had great sucess on the sale rack, I got 8 shirts and 1 pair of jeans , all for $40. I had Presley model a darling outfit, she even possed. The pants make her look so grown up, she can't crawl to good in the jeans, cause they are kind of thight in the tighs, but she just needs to stretch them out. Should I tell her this will be the story of her life, jeans that are always needing to be stretched out, if only she could dome some squats and lunges, they would loosen right up

clean up clean up

I have seen these before and my friends use then ,however I never thought of getting one , till I spilled bbq sauce on my new white shirt. Iasked my friend the best way to get it out and she told me to get the Tide pen, so I did, and I don't know what I ever did without it.I have used it for me and the kids. I reccomend everyone get one for home and in your purse, trust me you will use it often, save the embaressment of spilling food on your shirt in a restauraunt and spot treat it right away. I love it

MMMMM tasty

This is my new tasty treat.I have had this in the past, but have never bought my own jar.I saw it on a cooking show a few days ago and it inspired me to go get some.It is so delightful and addicting,I put it on some bread with my homemade strawberry jam and I had a delicious chocolate covered strawberry sandwhich, or try it on a crepe with sliced bananas and then warmed, mmmmmm! Try it to and you'll love it

The grass is yucky and there are no sun screens on the house

Snail Loco

Yes these are snails. Never in my life have I seen as many snails as I have here in Bakersfield. When the water goes on, the snails come out. This is Rocco's daily fun,he loves to look for the"the big daddy ones " and the "tiny baby ones", he loves to line them on the sidewalk and watch them crawl. we were outside yesterday and Mike was hitting them with the golf clubs and Presley and I just watched. These snail kind of freak me out, they leave this shiny snot trail as they crawl. There is probably at least 30 that I could count yesterday, I hope they don't take over one day.

She is so sweet. She is finally crawling all over, all over me that is. She definately is a mams girl and won't leave my side. But, I better enjoy this because, one day she'll not want to be with me. I wish I could get more done while holding her.

Amanda Rae
Happy Mothers Day from the 3 of us:

Mandi-Mother Extraordinair!
There are 3 people who know what a wonderful mother she is. There are surely more than 3 but these are 3 who love her the most. The most because she has caring hugs for days, smiles for years, and love for eternities (some of us get kisses too). Eternities because she has love that is boundless, especially unconditional when acting as a mother. A mother of 2 as her resume states. Mandi cares for her children like no other woman could. She holds one on her hip while consoling her boy as he states more than a hundred times "momma, I watch madagascar, momma, I watch madagascar". The one stays attached to the hip because if set down for a moment, she wields a loud cry yearning for more of momma's love. Mandi does it all with a smile, does it with compassion, and does it with a desire for more. One could ask why, but only a mother knows. She knows, and does day after day. What a good day it is with momma in it. We could not do it without you. And one day a year is not enough to say thank you. As for us 3, we love momma...
(Thank your sisters, they helped me hack in and post this on your blog. Luv ya, Captain BN)

oh yeah, and she's cool as ice cause she has a new pilot!! (surprise!)

a beautiful life

Lately, I have been doing a lot of self reflection, about what makes me happy and how to be happier. With all the craziness going on in the world, life can seem kind of crazy. So I wanted to find the things that I love in a day.
I love going on a run and smelling the orange blossoms and they smell so good, that I have to stop and breathe it in.
I love when my house is clean, vacume lines, the sound of the dishwasher, and relaxing on the couch knowing that it is all done.
Sunday afternoons, when the caziness is at a minimum and I have Mike's full attention.
Working outside and being all sweaty and, taking a nice hot shower.
Taking a bath with soft music by candelight
Wrapping my arms around Mike and having a safe feeling
The sweet smell of a babies breath.
When the kids are in bed and the house is calm, sitting in bed a watching tv, before I fall asleep
Having my kitchen sink sparkling white, free of any scuffs
Remenising about old times.
Being excited to see my kids wake up in the morning.
Having my boy turn around and look at me and say."thankyou mama"
Life is good and to often, I think I focus on what I don't have or how I had a hard day, but there is so much to be happy about in a day. What makes you happy?
