I did my usual grocery shopping yesterday, but while I was their I forgot some buns for our pulled pork yumminess for tonight. We had the adult session of Stake conference last night so we went to eat before it started and then enjoyed the meeting,(well, kinda I feel more confused ,if anything) but anyway,we ran to the store on our way home for the buns, while in the bread isle I saw all the...... donuts! Especially the powdered ones!If there was one guilty pleasure of food that I could eat and not feel guilty about, it would be donuts, long johns, boston cream, powdered, those chocolate dipped ones that leave a film in your mouth and taste like plastic, but are still so good.don't forget glazed from krispy creme, fresh from the conveor belt.mmmmm, can you taste it now. I can't tell you the last time I had a donut, because I know that are so bad for you, and I don't want the guilt. I will dream about them though! I did walk by the donuts and have my mouth water a bit, but kept on walkin.
If you could eat anything without feeling bad,or should I say, without adding the lbs , what would it be?

I didn't think I liked donuts that much... but yesterday the kids talked me in to picking up a dozen from Krispy Kreme... which turned into 2 dozen since I have a buy one get one card from there... (you can use it next time you're in town). And so I found out that I totally dig on donuts. My thighs and hind parts are wearing them all very well today.
Something I can't live without... other than Nate on a bun.... :) Cheese.... Tillamook sharp cheddar. mmmmm... In heaven I believe cheese will be more like fiber. In my next home I'm going to build a cheese cellar so that I can age it myself. Then Nate on a bun between cheese!!! yummy!

Wow, I never knew this little secret.

Mine would probably be soda. More specifically, Dr. Pepper. That's basically the only thing I stay away from. The carbonation and sugar is a deadly combo!

Oh Mandy, I hear ya on the donuts! I know exactly the feeling you are describing with the waxy chocolate ones but they are still so good! When we were in CA a couple of weeks ago I made Kris stop at a Krisy Kreme on the way home because it had been years since I had had one and I had been craving them forever. They were delish!

I haven't always been a donut fan, but we took the kids to some hot springs this Saturday, and I was watching this family eat donuts after. I never wanted a donut more!!!
As far as my biggest weakness, I just need sweets. The good thing about being home, is that my dad is the same way. So when Mike doesn't want any sweets, I call up my dad and we make milkshakes or pick up blizzards. We also love the powdered donuts with the raspberry filling!! YUMMY!!!!

MMM I love donuts too! I should not have read this post when I was hungry, haha. I trick myself into thinking that alot of things are healthy for me when they are really not and then I don't feel bad. Like pizza, I say this must be good for me because I get grains from the bread, a vegetable from the sauce, dairy from the cheese, and protein and more veggies from the toppings. I do that with lots of things.

Mine would be apple pie. I could eat apple pie all day long. I'm a real odd ball because I don't like donuts or cinnamon rolls. I know. It's crazy but at least I don't have to fear those calories.

My family has a special love for donuts. We got them every morning on our birthday, or if our dad just wanted to cheer us up. So, I associate them with happiness. I walk accross the street quite often to Bashas to get donuts in the mornings for me and Scarlet. Kinda defeats the purpose of the walk, but oh well. Dunkins are my favorites, but I'll take what I can get. I have many donut stories. Thanks for your message the other day, I can't believe you remembered Scarlet's birthday. It meant extra, considering the circumstances.

wow you have really got me thinkin, there is a lot of foods I love. pepsi and crushed ice is the best, especially after mowing the lawn etc. pepsi is my friend in the summer. I know it is bad and once I went a whole year without any SODA, and then one day I got a sore throat and is was all over. Grandma Hansen had a pepsi every morning at 10:00 and she lived to be 97, what can I say. another food is bread. hot right out of the oven, oh, oh so good

Mandi, here is the proof that I stalk your blog.

I think I am an oddity in the world in that doughnuts don't tempt me (except for the hot Krispy Kreme glazed ones). However, nacho cheese, or as fancy manufactures call it Salsa con Queso is my vice. I also love chocolate from the Cadberry company. Time to hide from all grocery stores until after Easter. =)

mandi I kept thinking and thinking what my guilty pleasure is....and you wanna know whats sad. I don't have a guilty pleasure, I eat what I love with no guilt. I don't look at the fat or calories or non of that crap. If its good I'll eat it. I know its so horrible but I love to eat and eat. So right now I have been feeling like a cookie monster cause I eat them all day long and crave them for breakfast lunch and dinner. And I make them and eat the whole batch myself no joke! And My most favorite treat is churros!! I'm going to disneyland in april and that is what I am most excited to do there! So I guess thats my guilty pleasure. I don't feel guilty about the fat but the cost of them 3 bucks each and I eat like 10 a day thats a lot of money!
