Tables

This is my new table I bought from my friend ,who is moving to Idaho, and I wanted it for a sofa table. I'm not sure if is right? I know it dosen't have stuff and maybe that is the problem. what do you think?

This is what it looks like from walking into the front door
This is my garage sale table. I got it for $7 and then painted it up red, but I feel that it might not be the right color, I'm thinking a mustard color, whats the vote?
Tell me what you guys think, again I know I need STUFF on it and that will come.

I like the red table. Mustard color is really in right now, but my vote is keep it RED.

my vote is mustard. maybe the sofa table is a bit tall, and that's why you're feeling like it's not quite right. I'll know better when I can see it in person. yay! can't wait!

I can't tell for sure on the coffee table, because it kinda looks pink in the picture. I think mustard would be a fun change, but it is hard to say, because I think the bigest thing is the accessories. Find other things around your house and jsut set them on both of the tables jsut to see what you think that does, before you make any big decissions. I think accessories will change your thoughts on both. So I guess my vote would be to keep the tables as is, and just add accessories!!

Ok, so I went back to look at the pictures, and I think the coffee table should either be mustard or an orange shade of red. I would go with the mustard and then add the red accessories.

I think once you get stuff on the sofa table it will be great! Some cute lamps, is your efiel tower somewhere already? That might look cute on the bottom shelf, or some sort of statue perhaps. The coffee table needs to be changed, I am not sure the red is quite right. I am so proud of you for making your home beautiful, you are doing a great job!

maybe switch the couches so the table is against the longer one. I am so excited to come see it all in person, we are going to have the best time!!!

Well, my professional opinion is that you just can't discuss tables and colors without a proper lunch!

The first pic makes the table a little funny but it looks better once you see it from the front door view. The table is cute but i also think its the wrong red. Mustard would totally bring out the colors in the rug and make that room pop! (I sound like HGTV people)
